Born and raised in the western suburbs of Sydney to Chilean parents, Cherie Sandoval’s strong South American heritage played a big role in her career as a professional Singer, Songwriter, Dancer and Teacher. Cherie started performing at the tender age of 11 singing at local latin events. Some of her career highlights thus far include performances at International resorts, P&O cruises, Channel 7’s Sunrise, SBS TV, Netflix,  and Foxtel main event to name a few. She recently signed on as a songwriter for an Australian/New Zealand media production publishing company BeatsFresh APRA AMCOS writing modern latin music for TV and advertising. In 2024 Cherie got her first Sync placement on Dancing with the Stars Australia. She currently performs at weddings and corporate events with a few agencies in Australia.
In 2025, Cherie competed in The Voice Australia Season 14 on Melanie C’s team and made it to the Top 10. She impressed judges Kate Miller-Heidke, Richard Marx, and Melanie C by turning three chairs during her Blind Audition. She showed off her samba dance skills and sang the Latin pop song “Livin’ La Vida Loca” by Ricky Martin.
